Top 14 star Cheslin Kolbe has spent part of his French season break by honing his skills with the Stormers.
Fans of the Cape franchise were intrigued by the presence of the Springbok flyer at training on Tuesday when the team gathered at Fairmont High School in Durbanville.
The Stormers responded to questions from their supporters by playing down any premature transfer talk for the reigning Top 14 Player of the Year.
‘Just training with the guys this morning to keep sharp while in Cape Town!’ they said on social media.
Kolbe has scored two tries in five matches this season with his side Toulouse, the defending champions, sitting seventh on the table. He spent five seasons in Cape Town before leaving for France.
The Stormers enjoy a bye week and remain on top of the South African Vodacom Super Rugby standings despite a shock loss to the Blues at Newlands last week.
