Jaco Peyper has been appointed as the referee for the Vodacom Super Rugby final between the Crusaders and Jaguares in Christchurch on Saturday.

Peyper, who was assistant referee in the semi-final between the Crusaders and Hurricanes, will be assisted by New Zealanders Mike Fraser and Paul Williams, with Ben Skeen as the TMO.

It will be the South African’s third Super Rugby final, after he also took charge of the 2017 title decider between the Lions and Crusaders in Johannesburg and the 2015 final between the Highlanders and Hurricanes.

With 105 Super Rugby matches to his name, Peyper is the most experienced referee on Sanzaar’s panel.
