Cheetahs winger Sergeal Petersen could be ready for their clash with the Stormers next weekend.

Petersen went down after scoring a try in the Cheetahs' 32-20 victory over the Kings in Bloemfontein last Saturday.

According to SuperSport.com, MRI scans showed that the quad injury is only a grade-one tear. The 10-day recovery period means Petersen will have to pass a last-minute fitness test late next week in order to be considered for selection.
