Star winger Sergeal Petersen will miss the Free State Cheetahs' next three Currie Cup games due to a knee injury.
Petersen suffered a grade-two tear to his knee ligaments in last Saturday's match against Boland, and is now only likely to return to action against the Sharks on 10 September.
'Luckily the injury happened early in the competition so there is enough time to recover. I'm not frustrated because now my body gets a chance to rest,' Petersen told Netwerk24.
