Paul Roos have climbed to the top of the Rugby365 rankings thanks to their 32-13 win against Paarl Gim.
The Maroon Machine started the weekend just below their opponents, with the win ensuring that they stayed among the handful of schools that are unbeaten this year.
The other big climbers have been Grey College, who moved into second place after ending Paarl Boys’ long unbeaten record against South African teams with a 34-20 victory in Paarl.
Glenwood, who edged Affies 37-34 in Pretoria, climbed one place to sixth behind Monument, who claimed the Tuks Series trophy by narrowly beating Menlopark 38-36.
Notably, Wynberg have climbed into the top 10 after beating Boland Landbou 27-25 – who drop to 11th position.
