Bulls and Springbok scrumhalf Rudy Paige is set to join the Lions.
According to Rapport newspaper, the Lions have identified Paige as a replacement for Faf de Klerk, who signed for English club Sale after Super Rugby.
Paige would be the Lions’ second-choice scrumhalf behind Bok No 9 Ross Cronjé.
However, that would also have been the case for Paige had he stayed at the Bulls next season, with Ivan van Zyl having established himself as coach John Mitchell’s preferred scrumhalf.
