Rudy Paige will captain the Free State Cheetahs in their Currie Cup clash against the Sharks in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
With the Cheetahs set to play Munster in the Pro14 on Saturday, there are just three players remaining from Free State’s 32-0 loss to Western Province – flyhalf Louis Fouche, lock Dennis Visser and tighthead prop Günther Janse van Vuuren.
There are also two debutants in the Cheetahs XV in lock Louis Conradie and fullback Adriaan Carelse, while Jannes Snyman, Luigi van Jaarsveld and Abogile Nonkontwana could make their debuts from the bench.
