Former Springbok boss Peter de Villiers has apparently been shortlisted by the Kings along with three other candidates for the vacant head coach role.
De Villiers, along with Rory Duncan, Steve Jackson and Corniel van Zyl are the candidates being considered for the head coach vacancy, as confirmed by EP Rugby General Manager Thando Manana, who shared the shortlist on social media.

It is believed the quartet were selected from as many as 50 applications for the position.
De Villiers recently vacated his position as head of Zimbabwe.
The New Zealand-born Jackson is currently coaching Samoa. He previously coached at Tasman, Counties-Manukau, North Harbour and the Auckland Blues.
Duncan was the Cheetahs’ director of rugby and coached the Pro14 team before he joined the Worcester Warriors’ coaching staff.
