Saffas Craig Burden and Wynand Olivier have been called into the World XV squad for their clash against the Springboks at Newlands on Saturday.
Nick Mallett has moved swiflty to replace Schalk Brits, who should feature for Heyneke Meyer's Boks, with the explosive Burden. The two recently clashed in the European Cup final, a battle which the former Sharks hooker won.
Olivier, who has been a consistent performer in France for Montpellier this season, has replaced the powerful Aurélien Rougerie in the squad.
The former Bok coach has also added Julian Redelinghuys to the fold in a move that is certain to raise a few eyebrows. Redelinghuys has impressed in a dominant Lions scrum this season and he will get a chance to test himself against the formidable Bok front row.
The squad boasts a total of 621 international caps between them, as well as players from nine different countries.
