Western Province and Springbok hooker Scarra Ntubeni has apologised for his behaviour during an incident involving a ball boy in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
During WP’s match against the Free State Cheetahs, the hosts had secured a lineout feed. The ball boy took the ball to Ntubeni to throw in, but the hooker slapped it out of the boy’s hand.
The incident was caught on camera and Ntubeni has copped a lot criticism.
Not something you would expect from a Springbok hooker… pic.twitter.com/U0C8vBTvZH

But Ntubeni has taken responsibility and apologised to the boy, known only as Giovanni, and presented him with a Western Province jersey.
