S’bu Nkosi is in doubt for the Sharks’ must-win match against the Jaguares at Kings Park on Saturday.

The Springbok wing suffered an ankle sprain during his side’s loss to the Stormers at Newlands and will undergo scans to determine the extent of the injury.

In other injury news, No 8 Dan du Preez has a pinched nerve in the neck and will be available for selection if he comes through training this week.

Flank Jean-Luc du Preez, who sustained an MCL sprain against the Lions, is on track with his rehab.

The Sharks need to beat the Jaguares and hope that the Rebels lose to the Highlanders in Dunedin, to qualify for the quarter-finals.
