Former England and Harlequins No 8 Nick Easter is set to join the Sharks coaching setup for the duration of their Currie Cup campaign.
Following the arrival of Harlequins head of rugby Paul Gustard, Easter left the Premiership side for ‘personal reasons’.
Easter, who spent 14 years in London, will look to benefit from a new environment that could allow him to develop his coaching CV.
The 39-year-old is ‘up-skilling’ his coaching credentials in South Africa and will link up with the Sharks next week before their Currie Cup opener against the Bulls on 25 August.
