Allister Coetzee has named a second-string Stormers team to face Boland at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.
Following the unavailability of several senior players for their final pre-season game, hooker Neil Rautenbach will lead the team which consists of only nine Vodacom Super Rugby squad members.
Promising youngsters Jarryd Sage and Kyle Lombard will start in midfield with sevens starlets Tshotsho Mbovane and Danwel Demas out wide. Familiar faces include EW Viljoen at fullback, Robert du Preez at flyhalf, Sikhumbuzo Notshe at the back of the scrum and Oli Kebble in the front row.
The union's Currie Cup coach, John Dobson, will take charge of the team on match day, but Allister Coetzee and his assistants Robbie Fleck and Matt Proudfoot will prepare the side in the buildup to the game.
