Published on January 18, 2020

The Sharks have named Ox Nche, Henco Venter and Sikhumbuzo Notshe in their starting lineup for the SuperHero Sunday match against the Stormers in Soweto.

Nche, as well as Venter and Notshe, will all make their first high-profile run-outs in a Sharks jersey after joining the Durban-based side during the off-season.

The 24-year-old loosehead prop, who will be expected to fill the boots of Beast Mtawarira this season, is joined in the front row by Kerron van Vuuren and Thomas du Toit.

Another new signing, former Pumas and Waratahs lock Le Roux Roets, forms the second-row partnership with Hyron Andrews, while Venter and Notshe are in the loose trio with Tyler Paul.

In the backline, Louis Schreuder and Curwin Bosch form an experienced halfback pairing, with Springboks Andre Esterhuizen and Lukhanyo Am in midfield.
