Johan Ackermann has made wholesale changes to the Lions team that will take on Boland this Friday.
After last weekend’s shock loss to Griquas, Ackermann has overhauled the pack, bringing in a new front row of Corné Fourie, Ramone Samuels and Pieter Scholtz.
In the second row, Ruan Ackermann shifts from No 8 to lock, with Martin Muller coming in at No 5, while a new-look back row includes Steph de Wit, Victor Sekekete and Ruaan Lerm.
The changes continue in the backline, where Dillon Smit and Marnitz Boshoff combine at halfback, while Howard Mnisi and Jacques Nel slot into the midfield.
On the left wing, Anthony Volmink is one of the few players to retain his starting place from last weekend, but will form part of a new-look back three as Selom Gavor comes onto the right wing, with Andries Coetzee taking up the fullback berth.
