Niel Marais will start at flyhalf in one of seven changes to the starting XV for the Cheetahs' match against the Sunwolves in Singapore on Saturday.
Coach Franco Smith has made two direct swaps in the backline, where Marais replaces Fred Zeilinga at No 10 and Sias Ebersohn is preferred at fullback ahead of Clayton Blommetjies.
In a completely different front row to the one that faced the Stormers in Bloemfontein last week, props Ox Nche and Johan Coetzee as well as hooker Jacques du Toit start ahead of Charles Marais, Maks van Dyk and Torsten van Jaarsveld.
Smith also reshuffled his back row, with Francois Uys taking over from Lood de Jager, who is rested for this game, while Henco Venter plays No 8 at the expense of Neill Jordaan.
