Italy coach Jacques Brunel has included 10 uncapped players in his 30-man Six Nations squad.
Ornel Gega, Andrea Lovotti, Matthew Zanusso, Jacopo Sarto, Andries van Schalkwyk and Abraham Steyn are the newcomers among the forwards, while in the backs, Edoardo Padovani, Mattia Bellini, Tommaso Castello and David Odiete are the other uncapped players.
Italy are set to kick off their Six Nations campaign against France in Paris on 6 February.
