New Argentina coach Mario Ledesma has named 10 uncapped players in his 36-man squad for the Rugby Championship.
The squad is solely made up of Argentina-based players but that could change with Ledesma having requested the additions of Stade Français prop Ramiro Herrera and Saracens prop Juan Figallo.
There are nine uncapped forwards in the squad, including Lucas Favre, Marco Ciccioli, Mayco Vivas, Diego Fortuny and Santiago Grondona, who have all played for the Argentina XV, as well as Juan Pablo Zeiss, Ignacio Larrague, Franco Molina and Rodrigo Bruni.
Among the backs, 29-year-old Joaquín Díaz Bonilla will provide backup for Nicolás Sánchez at flyhalf.
Veteran No 8 Leonardo Senatore has been left out of the squad, while Jaguares vice-captain Thomas Lezana misses out due to injury.
