Props WP Nel and Allan Dell have been named in Scotland’s lineup to front Ireland in their World Cup opener in Yokohama on Sunday.
Coach Gregor Townsend has made a whopping 10 changes to the Scotland team in an attempt to topple their Six Nations rivals Ireland when they clash on Sunday.
Fullback Stuart Hogg and wing Sean Maitland return to the back three to partner wing Tommy Seymour.
The trusted pair of Greig Laidlaw and flyhalf Finn Russell return as the starting halfback axis. Along with Seymour, midfielders Sam Johnson and Duncan Taylor the only backs who retain their places in the side.
Glasgow Warriors duo Ryan Wilson (No 8) and Jonny Gray (lock) are the only survivors in the pack, which features six changes including a new-look front row consisting of Dell, captain Stuart McInally and Nel.
