Cheetahs loosehead prop Ox Nche has been cited for a dangerous tackle in the team’s loss against Leinster last Friday.
Nche put in a no-arms challenge against wing Fergus McFadden in the ninth minute of the match, which Leinster went on to win 19-7. Referee Nigel Owens opted against sending him off, only showing Nche a yellow card for the incident.

However, the 23-year-old could face further punishment after the citing commissioner reported him for breaking law 9.13 – a player must not tackle an opponent early, late or dangerously – and law 9.25 – a player must not intentionally charge or obstruct an opponent who has just kicked the ball.
Nche will face a disciplinary committee via video conference on Wednesday.
