Namibia thrashed Kenya 53-28 in Windhoek on Saturday to book their place at next year’s World Cup.
The Rugby Africa Gold Cup Test doubled up as a straight shootout between the two nations for a spot in the 2019 World Cup.
The result sees Namibia qualify as the Africa 1 winner. They will be in Pool B with the Springboks, All Blacks and Italy. The pool will be completed by the repechage winner.
The repechage event – the final qualifying round – will be contested by Kenya, Germany, Canada and Hong Kong in Marseille in November. The winners will take the last available World Cup place.
Congratulations to @RugbyNamibia on their qualification to Rugby World Cup 2019.
