Lions duo Hacjivah Dayimani and Manie Rass suffered serious injuries during their match against the Blues in Auckland this past weekend.
Despite a relatively solid start, the Lions capitulated as the match wore on and ultimately slumped to a 43-10 defeat by the Blues at Eden Park.
During the match, No 8 Dayimani and centre Rass left the field with injuries and on Monday the Lions confirmed both players have to undergo further assessments to determine the extent of their injuries.

Dayimani sustained a grade-two medial collateral ligament tear in his knee and will undergo a sonar to establish the severity.
Rass suffered a ankle syndesmosis sprain and will go for an MRI scan to determine the damage.
The Lions played three of their four scheduled matches on tour and were pencilled in to play the Highlanders this coming weekend, but they returned home on Sunday evening as part of precautionary measures put in place to fight the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
