The Sharks have signed Wandile Mjekevu from French club Perpignan on a two-year deal.
After stints with the Lions and Sharks, the former Junior Springbok joined Perpignan in 2013, where he developed his game.
'We are delighted that Wandile has decided to return to the Sharks,' said director of rugby Gary Gold. 'He had a great stint in France and he's an unbelievable prospect. His strength and agility around the park will most certainly bolster our backline and we look forward to him progressing at the franchise.'
'I am thrilled to be back in Durban,' said Mjekevu, who can play centre or wing. 'I'm looking forward to being a part of and contributing within the new and exciting set-up at the Sharks.'
