French giants Stade Français have confirmed the signing of former Junior Bok scrumhalf James Hall on a two-year deal.
Hall previously played for the Sharks and Kings before joining Oyonnax in 2016.
The 23-year-old’s move to Stade will see him ply his trade in the French capital until 2021 with the option of extending his stay at the club.
Stade coach Heyneke Meyer brought in Hall as the replacement for Piet van Zyl, who retired at the end of the European season.
Commenting on his move, Hall said: ‘I’m happy to join this great club and am excited to play here for the next two seasons. I will give my best for the team and hope I can help this club win the Top 14 again.
