Tian Meyer will make his Cheetahs return on the right wing in one of two changes to the starting lineup to face the Dragons in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
Meyer, who normally plays at scrumhalf, replaces the injured William Small-Smith and takes the captaincy from Shaun Venter, who led the team during their loss against the Ospreys last weekend.
The only other change comes in the pack as JP du Preez rotates with Sintu Manjezi, who will be providing lock cover from the bench.
Meanwhile, all of Oupa Mohoje, Junior Pokomela, Schalk van der Merwe and Small-Smith are expected to recover in time for the Currie Cup, which kicks off in July.
