Tian Meyer will start at scrumhalf in the solitary change to the Cheetahs' starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Stormers at Newlands.
Meyer comes in for Shaun Venter, who drops to the bench, but will earn his 50th Super Rugby cap should he come on to the field.
On the bench, Neill Jordaan replaces Henco Venter.
