The legal case between Stellenbosch University and SA Rugby chief executive Jurie Roux will reportedly go to arbitration in November.
Roux and co-accused Christiaan de Beer are being sued by the university for allegedly misappropriating funds while they were in charge of the Maties rugby club.
The case was set to take place at the Western Cape High Court in May, but was postponed without a set date.
According to News24, an arbitration hearing between the two parties will now take place in November this year.
In choosing arbitration, the parties have opted for a private dispute resolution procedure instead of going to court.
The process is also claimed to be a quicker and less expensive way to arrive at a resolution.
