Springbok hooker Malcolm Marx walked away with four coveted prizes at the Lions’ awards ceremony for 2017.
Marx was awarded Super Rugby Player of the Year, Supporters’ Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Most Valued Player of the Year.
Franco Mostert was named the Super Rugby Forward of the Year, while Ross Cronjé was named the Backline Player of the Year.
The Currie Cup Player of the Year award went to Kwagga Smith, while Marvin Orie and Ashlon Davids were also recognised for their efforts in the domestic competition.
