Marty McKenzie will start at flyhalf for the Chiefs against the Highlanders in Invercargill on Saturday.
His brother Damian, who wore the No 10 jersey against the Vodacom Bulls last weekend, shifts to fullback.
In other changes, Maama Vaipulu replaces captain Liam Messam, who has a shoulder injury, on the blindside flank, with loosehead prop Pauliasi Manu and No 5 lock Michael Fitzgerald returning to the starting lineup.
