Sharks and Bok winger Makazole Mapimpi is on the cover of the new SA Rugby magazine, on sale this week!
Mapimpi, regarded by many as South Africa’s best finisher, has improved other aspects of his game to become a more complete player.
The 28-year-old made his Bok debut against Wales last year, and went on to start three other Tests on the right wing. However, his 2018 season was disrupted by injury.
Mapimpi has come back strongly this year, having emerged as one of the Sharks’ most influential performers during the Vodacom Super Rugby campaign.
In our new issue, we chat to the flyer from the Eastern Cape to find out more about his journey to the top.
