Michael Makase will start on the left wing for the Kings against the Ospreys in Swansea on Friday.
The 28-year-old replaces Anthony Volmink in the only change to the team that was thrashed 59-10 by Ulster in Belfast last weekend.
Flyhalf Martin du Toit (lower back) and scrumhalf Rowan Gouws (ankle), who were in doubt for the game, have been passed fit.
The Kings, who have lost all 14 of their Pro14 matches this season, have also been boosted by the return of coach Deon Davids, who missed the Ulster clash due to illness.
