Lyon have signed South African locks Francois van der Merwe and Ettiene Oosthuizen for the 2017-18 season.

Van der Merwe (33), currently at Racing 92, has signed a two-year deal.

Oosthuizen (24) has agreed to a three-year contract and will be leaving the Sharks.
