Loubscher to cut SA ties

Former Springbok backline coach Ricardo Loubscher is looking to further his career abroad.

Loubscher worked with the national team under Heyneke Meyer for four years, but his contract expired at the end of 2015 and there has been no offer from Saru to retain his services, according to SuperSport.com.

'I would very much like to stay in South Africa and coach,' says Loubscher. 'But since my contract ended, I have been unemployed and as the only breadwinner in my family I need to find something else.'

The 41-year-old has been linked with offers in Japan and France, but is still considering his options.

'I learned a lot during my time with the Boks and I feel I have a role to play. But I also have to provide for my family,' Loubscher added.

Forwards and attack coach Johann van Graan was the only member of Meyer's team retained by Saru.
