Lood de Jager and Ivan van Zyl have been called up to the Green and Gold squads, as a coach and scrumhalf replacement respectively, for the Springbok showdown on Saturday.
De Jager, who plays for the Sale Sharks in England but is currently nursing a shoulder injury, joined the Green team on Tuesday as their lineout coach.
The World Cup-winning Bok lock will assist Green team coach Mzwandile Stick and assistant coach Daan Human before going under the knife next week.
The Gold team also welcomed a new addition to their squad in Springbok scrumhalf Van Zyl, who replaces Jaden Hendrikse following his withdrawal due to a chest injury.
Van Zyl earned three Test caps in 2018 and was named in the original 93-man draft squad.
