Lions coach Ivan van Rooyen has made two changes to his side for their Currie Cup encounter with Western Province at Ellis Park on Wednesday.
In a short turnaround from their last match on Friday, the team welcomes back numerous players who’ve returned to fitness including Ruben Schoeman, Jaco Visagie and Morne van den Berg. Jannie du Plessis, Jaco Kriel, MJ Pelser, Roelof Smit and Divan Rossouw are returning to play and preparing for the upcoming fixtures.
Despite their availability, though, Van Rooyen has made just two personnel changes to the starting lineup, with Schoeman replacing the injured Willem Alberts at lock and Ruan Dreyer taking over at tighthead prop in place of Carlu Sadie.
