Tiaan Swanepoel is among the three Lions players who have officially put pen to paper on new long-term deals with the franchise.
The Lions on Tuesday confirmed that Swanepoel, along with loosehead prop Sti Sithole and lock Reinhard Nothnagel, will be staying in Johannesburg after the trio all signed contract extensions.

Swanepoel, who joined the Lions at the end of 2019 from Australian club side West Harbour, has signed a new three-year contract, which will keep him with the Lions until 2024.
The 24-year-old finished the 2020 Currie Cup season in the top five for most points (63, rank second), most tries (three, rank second), highest kicking accuracy (84.21%, rank three) and ball carries (38, rank three).

23-year-old lock Nothnagel, who has come through the Lions youth ranks, has also signed a three-year extension.
Meanwhile, Sithole, who has been with the Lions since joining from the Kings in 2017, has signed a two-year extension. The loosehead prop was in excellent form in both Super Rugby Unlocked and the Currie Cup.
