The Lions have been dealt a massive blow following confirmation that Hacjivah Dayimani and EW Viljoen have been ruled out three months and six weeks, respectively.
The Lions on Monday confirmed that Viljoen sustained a grade-two hamstring tear in the match against Griquas on Saturday. The utility back will be out of action for approximately four to six weeks.
And, in a further blow to the Lions, loose forward Hacjivah Dayimani has been ruled out for at least three months to miss the remainder of the revised Currie Cup season. Dayimani underwent a meniscus knee operation last week.
