The Lions have confirmed that six more players, including scrumhalf Nic Groom, have committed to the franchise.

Groom, who arrived in Johannesburg from Northampton this year, as well as flank Marnus Schoeman, lock Lourens Erasmus, No 8 Hacjivah Dayimani, centre Harold Vorster and wing Sylvian Mahuza have all signed on with the Lions.

This follows the announcement of 14 players extending their stay with the union, including Springboks Malcolm Marx, Elton Jantjies and Lionel Mapoe.
