The Lions have confirmed that they found no evidence of racism in an incident between the Roodepoort and Wanderers rugby clubs.
The incident occurred on 25 April in an U21 match between the two Johannesburg clubs.

A couple of days following the match, Wanderers released a statement accusing the Roodepoort players and spectators of racial abuse. Roodepoort conducted their own investigation, which found no evidence of racism.
The GLRU launched and concluded their investigation, but likewise found no evidence of racism. However, Roodepoort prop Ruben Chambers was handed a four-match suspension for striking another player.
