Lions change two for Stormers

Lions coach Johan Ackermann has changed his midfield for the clash against the Stormers at Ellis Park on Saturday.

Due to the injury to Lionel Mapoe, Stefan Watermeyer gets the No 13 jersey while Alwyn Hollenbach comes in at inside centre.

Faf de Klerk, who impressed off the bench against the Cheetahs last weekend after being a late change for the injured Michael Bondesio, will start at No 9.

On the bench, MB Lusaseni is primed to make his Super Rugby debut, while JW Jonker will provide cover as a utility back.

Elton Jantjies and Anthony Volmink, who have recovered from shoulder injuries, will make their comebacks in the Vodacom Cup this weekend.

The union also announced its new main sponsor, Xerox, which has sponsored the in the past. They will sponsor the Golden Lions during the 2014-2016 Currie Cup seasons.
