The Lions have confirmed that former Bok lock Stephan Lewies has joined them for the 2019 Super Rugby season.
As reported by SARugbymag.co.za back in December, Lewies has been added to the Lions’ second-row stocks following the departure of England-based Franco Mostert.
Lewies, who earned a solitary Bok cap off the bench in a 2014 Test against Scotland, joins the Lions after an off-season stint in Japan.
