The Waratahs have stood down hooker Tolu Latu until his court hearing on 6 June for driving under the influence.
Latu was caught in an alleged drunk-driving incident last Thursday, but still played for the Waratahs against the Reds on Saturday because he failed to inform his bosses before it became public.
However, he was released from the Wallabies’ training camp immediately after news of his offence surfaced.
The Waratahs confirmed on Tuesday that the 26-year-old will not be considered for selection until after his court appearance. As a result, he will miss their matches against the Jaguares and Reds.
Latu will also be subject to a Rugby Australia code of conduct process, pending the outcome of the court hearing.
Latu, who has played 12 Tests for Australia, was allegedly found asleep behind the wheel of his car, with a blood alcohol level of 0.135 last Thursday.
