Jono Lance has rejoined the Reds, months after signing for the Rebels.
The flyhalf, who went to the Rebels after the Force were kicked out of Super Rugby, is back at the team that gave him his Super Rugby debut in 2011.
With the Reds forcing out Wallaby Quade Cooper and Karmichael Hunt facing a drug conviction, Lance will be the favourite to wear the No 10 jersey for the Brisbane-based side.
Reds head coach Brad Thorn, who played against Lance in the 2011 Super Rugby final, said he was a good fit for the squad and provided added depth and experience.
‘He’s well known as a good bloke and a tough footballer. He’ll bring plenty of experience and smarts to the backline.’
