Injured Sharks flyhalf Pat Lambie will be available for the Springboks' three-Test series against Ireland.
Lambie, who hurt his shoulder in the pre-season match against Toulon, told Rapport that he would be match sharp too.
'I expect to return in May,' he said. 'This will hopefully mean that I get in three to four [Super Rugby] matches before June. I've started training again and should be ready to run on the field full out within the next three weeks.'
With Handré Pollard set to miss the June Tests because of a knee injury, Lambie and Elton Jantjies will battle it out for the Bok No 10 jersey.
