La Rochelle scored six tries in their 49-29 win against Wasps at the Stade Marcel-Deflandre, while there were also European Champions Cup wins for Ulster and Leinster on Sunday.
The French club scored three converted tries in the first half, from centre Pierre Aguillon, hooker Pierre Bourgarit and flanker Levani Botia. Wing Vincent Rattez crossed the line twice in the second half, with Botia scoring his second try late in the game to secure La Rochelle’s third successive bonus-point win in the competition.
Wasps, who had flanker Thomas Young and centre Juan de Jongh yellow-carded during the match, did come away with a bonus point, though, after scoring five tries.
In another Pool 1 match, Ulster beat Harlequins 17-5 in the snow at The Stoop to move past Wasps into second spot in the pool.
At Sandy Park, Leinster took control of Pool 3 by beating the Exeter Chiefs 18-8, with flyhalf Johnny Sexton and No 8 Jack Conan scoring tries.
Leinster are now six log points ahead of Exeter and Montpellier after three rounds.
