Tevita Kuridrani showed his Test quality against Juan de Jongh at Twickenham on Saturday, writes BRENTON CHELIN.

Kuridrani made yards every time he touched the ball and gave Australia a great attacking platform, which they duly exploited. He grabbed a try for himself and was heavily involved in a few more, as he cut the Barbarians defence to shreds with an exemplary showing of pace and power.

It was a fine showing from the Brumbies centre, who easily outshone his opposite number.

De Jongh, so impressive during Western Province's run to the Currie Cup title, was anonymous on an afternoon of scant opportunity. He was unable to impose himself on the match, and apart from two missed interception attempts, showed little to suggest that Heyneke Meyer was wrong in leaving him out of the Springboks' end-of-year tour.
