Kriel named Bulls’ MVP

Jesse Kriel was the big winner at the Vodacom Bulls' awards function on Wednesday.

Kriel was named the Player of the Year, Super Rugby Players' Player of the Year, and Super Rugby Back of the Year.

After an outstanding Super Rugby season, Kriel went on to feature for the Boks in 11 Tests this year, which saw him claim the rights to the No 13 jersey during the World Cup.

Talented Junior Springbok Warrick Gelant received the Junior Player of the Year award, while loose forward Lappies Labuschagne was recognised as the Super Rugby Forward of the Year.
