Stormers captain Siya Kolisi has been ruled out of their last Super Rugby game of the season against the Sharks at Newlands on Saturday.

Pieter-Steph du Toit takes over the captaincy in the absence of Kolisi, who has been ruled out through illness, while Kobus van Dyk will start at openside flank.

Props Frans Malherbe and JC Janse van Rensburg are elevated to the starting XV, with Wilco Louw and Steven Kitshoff reverting to the bench.

In the backline, EW Viljoen gets the nod at outside centre, forcing JJ Engelbrecht to shift out to the right wing in place of Craig Barry.

Furthermore, lock JD Schickerling, No 8 Juarno Augustus, scrumhalf Herschel Jantjies and flyhalf Josh Stander have all been included on the bench. Jantjies will make his debut if he comes on a substitute.

Subs: 16 Ramone Samuels, 17 Steven Kitshoff, 18 Wilco Louw, 19 JD Schickerling, 20 Juarno Augustus, 21 Herschel Jantjies, 22 Josh Stander, 23 Craig Barry.
