Castres scrumhalf Rory Kockott has received a three-week suspension for making contact with the ‘eye area’ of Munster flank Chris Cloete.
The incident took place during a European Champions Cup clash last Saturday.
Reports suggested that, if found guilty, the 32-year-old was facing a sentence ranging between 12 weeks and four years.
However, while pleading guilty to making contact with Cloete’s ‘eye area’, Kockott only got a three-week ban and will be able to play again on Monday 7 January.
