Kings coach Deon Davids has announced a 27-man squad for their three-week tour of Ireland and Wales.
The Kings are scheduled to take on Irish giants Munster and Leinster over the next two weeks, followed by a match against the Cardiff Blues in Wales.
Davids will be without influential flank CJ Velleman, who has been handed a three-match suspension for a red card he received against the Cheetahs.
In some good news, prop Pieter Scholtz is back in the squad after serving a three-match ban for foul play.
Other notable inclusions are that of young flyhalf Bader Pretorius and former Bulls utility back Ulrich Beyers.
‘It is set to be a tough tour against Munster, a side that leads Conference A. Then we face the defending Pro14 champions before ending off against another classy side like Cardiff,’ Davids said.
‘We have shown some gradual progress over the weeks, and we hope to continue on that upward curve, but most importantly we are still hungry to clinch a win or two on tour.’
